Three Magic Words

Last night, I was searching the video-on-demand movies available through my cable TV company, and I came upon a documentary called "3 Magic Words." This documentary featured a number of scientists, spiritual gurus, artists and others all attesting to the fact that we are all connected to each other and to God, The Source of all that is. The film distinguished between a philosophy of separation and one of connectedness, and said that in the beginning of human existence, human spirituality and religious beliefs were of connectedness, but that over time, we have moved toward the idea of separation and the evolution of religions has led to further beliefs in separation and therefore, the practice of judging others because we see them as separate. When we realize that we are all connected to each other and to the same Source, we look at others as part of ourselves and we feel love and compassion for them. This leads us to living in peace and harmony. The 3 Magic Words that each of us must realize to reach enlightenment and awaken humanity to living in love and compassion are "I am God." (3 Magic Words, Ozark Publishing & Starseed Films).

"The day everyone accepts the responsibility of being one with God is the day we make our world more peaceful and loving and spiritual." (Michael Perlin).

"I am endeavoring to see God through service to humanity, for I know that God is neither in heaven, nor down below, but in everyone." (Gandhi).

Who Is God?

Trust in God
And trust in yourself
And things will go your way!

Accept responsibility for your actions
And God will watch over you
To the extent of that responsibility.

Trust in god alone
And trust not in yourself
And God neither sees nor hears you,
For God is within you (© Carla Weaver, 1974).
