Letting Go

Letting Go
This painting was a commission for someone I met in Puerto Vallarta. She loved the statue on the Malecon by ___, and wanted it painted. I discussed with her what she wanted, and then took several photographs of it. I painted this when I returned to British Columbia from one of my photos. I called it Letting Go because to me, it looks like a mother releasing her children to follow their paths. It is in a private collection in Idaho.
